Abstract

The article addresses the topic of creativity in architecture from two different perspectives: human creativity and artificial intelligence (AI), with an emphasis on academic environments. The introduction presents the evolution of the concept of human creativity and the origins and development of AI. The results analyze how the emergence of AI opens up many possibilities, but also raises complex debates that shake up traditional pedagogical and conceptual notions. Partial results of work developed in the classroom are also presented. It concludes that, although AI adds complexity, it also enriches the potential for collaboration, allowing human-machine design teams to explore deeper, broader and more diverse creative avenues together.
