Abstract
In Xalapa, this scene has become almost an everyday occurrence at certain times of the day—especially on Friday afternoons. The large accumulation of cars, buses, and trucks of all kinds turns the city's streets into a vast parking lot, where traffic moves slowly like a dense stream of vehicles crawling across the pavement.
