Sowing knowledge, forming communities and transforming institutions: the legacy of the UNAM Master's and Doctoral Program over six decades

Abstract

When we speak of the Master's and Doctoral Programs in Architecture at UNAM, we are referring to one of the first postgraduate programs in the country, which, for almost six decades, has transcended the university classroom. Both programs have been a breeding ground for students who have become researchers, professors, and public servants throughout the nation. During this time, the programs have undergone changes and updates that have allowed them to constantly evolve, seeking to adapt to the current needs of society and the country.
